Our cashews are harvested and shelled by hand with a tool that prevents them from heating above 104 degrees F. Maintaining a lower temperature prevents the raw kernels from being destroyed, resulting in an incredibly delicious nut.
Cashews are a great source of vitamins E, K, and B6, along with minerals like copper, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, iron, and selenium.
Sprouting nuts is similar to the process that they would undergo in nature. When a nut falls off a tree during the autumn months, it sits on the ground until spring when it begins to germinate and grow.
Sprouting (also known as activating) disarms the inedible tannins and toxins that reside in the nut that prevent it from prematurely germinating in nature.
Sprouting noticeably transforms a normally dense nut into a much lighter, easier to digest nut that is more alkaline and has enhanced nutritional delivery.
The sprouting process also provides the nut with more vital life force because the nut is now further along in its growth cycle as opposed to being ungerminated.
All our sprouted nuts/seeds are soaked in water from a pristine, naturally alkaline deep well in Maine (not city water!).
We dehydrate as opposed to roasting to protect the oil in the nuts from going rancid. Roasting can damage the healthy polyunsaturated fats in nuts.

Tasty and Nutritious
Recently purchased Sprouted Cashews and Macadamia nuts. Also Sprouted Almond butter. All are great tasting, fresh and far superior to any product you could buy at a supermarket like Whole Foods. I've purchased sprouted almonds and pumpkin seeds in the past as well as Sprouted walnut butter. Sprouted products are healthier as they digest better and you absorb more nutrients. I also refrigerate all of my nuts.
I ordered Cashews.Pistachios.and Sunflower seeds.And They are pretty darn good.This was my first time buying from them and it won't be my last..Nuts and Seeds are a huge part of my diet......
